       Some SHRD members and other horticulturists have noticed that there is another Uttarakhand-based society with the same name, Society for Horticultural Research and Development ( SHRD), Uttar Pradesh.

        Here, I clarify that the hitherto known as the Indian Society of Hill Agriculture (ISHA) Uttarakhand, has changed its name as the Indian Society of Horticultural Research and Development ( ISHRD), Uttarakhand. Therefore, it is requested that there is no confusion regarding the names.

       Please do not get confused with the names. Our Society, the SHRD, is 10 years old with distinction among horticulturists the world over. The SHRD has wide membership base in entire National Agricultural Research System also.
