Presentation

The Summit will cover lead, oral and poster presentations in each session.

Lead / Invited Papers
  • Lead papers on specific topics highlighting the central theme of each session will be invited by the organizing committee from senior research workers and on the basis of suggestions received.
  • This slot is reserved for those scientists known for their scientific intellect. Speakers of different sessions are requested to review the national and international conditions and suggest future R&D of Horticulture in India.
  • The extended abstracts for lead/invited papers (about 2 pages) are required to be submitted within a fortnight of request, while the full length papers will be required to be submitted latest for publication of proceedings and release during the inaugural session.
Oral Presentations:
  • Both members and non-members of SHRD within India and abroad shall be considered for oral presentation subject to the relevance of the title and experience of the scientist related to the subject to the presentations shall be state-of-the-art report.
  • The shortlisted speakers will have to make an oral presentation(s) of the work within the allotted time (strictly 07 min.) period.
  • This presentation will be followed by a 03-minute interactive session with either the audience or the evaluation committee.
  • The presentation must be concise including introduction, objective of the study, results & discussion and conclusion not more than 15 slides.
  • Registration is mandatory to present the paper/abstract in the summit.
  • Best oral presentation awards will be given in each session.
Poster Presentations:
  • The researchers/students are invited to submit abstracts (max two as senior registered author) relating to broad theme areas of the summit, which would be peer reviewed and presented as poster papers in the three-day event.
  • The size of the poster should be 92 x 122 cm or 36 (width) x 48 (height) inches.
  • A space of 1 x 1.5 m would be provided for display of each poster.
  • Times new roman font with different font sizes should be used without mixing different fonts. To highlight text use underlined text, bold face or italics or any two combinations to emphasize words and phrases.
  • Poster cover following points: Poster title, authors and affiliations, email id of corresponding author in header.
  • It will be preferred if the poster is made in two columns for following sections viz., introduction; objective; material and methods; results and discussion; Table and figures; and Conclusion.
  • Please ensure to select a suitable font size so that the matter is clearly legible and the information is adjusted in the allocated space.
  • The poster will be required to be displayed at least 30 min before the commencement of the concerned session and the physical presence of one of the authors is compulsory during presentation.
  • The decision of scientific committee will be final for date, timing of presentation of poster during the summit.
  • Registration is mandatory to present the paper/abstract in the summit.
  • Best poster presentation awards will be given in each session.
